On Tuesday, December 10, South Africa and Pakistan will lock horns for the first of a three-match T20I series. The series opener will be hosted by Kingsmead Stadium in Durban and start at 9:30 pm IST. 

For the upcoming T20I series, South Africa have made several changes as Heinrich Klaasen will lead the side. Regular skipper Aiden Markram has been rested alongside several other big stars. Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Tristan Stubbs will all be absent from the T20Is.

Who Will Fill Stubbs, Markram, And Jansen's Place In The First T20I?

Ryan Rickelton will open the innings with Reeza Hendricks, who will take Markram's place in the playing XI. Meanwhile, Stubbs, who has been a crucial member of the playing XI, will be replaced by Matthew Breetzke. 

Further, Donovan Ferriera will also feature in the playing XI as Marco Jansen is missing from the squad. 

Ryan Rickelton To Be Rested For The First T20I?

It is likely that Rickelton be benched for the first game as he was playing against Sri Lanka in the Test match. Thus, to manage Rickelton's workload, the management might look to drop him for the first T20I and give him adequate rest.

Who Will Lead The Bowling Line up for SA In 1st T20I?

South Africa will go ahead with Baartman, Anrich Nortje, Kewna Maphaka as the seamers for the first T20I. Meanwhile, Tabraiz Shamsi would be the sole spinner.
