In a fascinating contest, Bangladesh Women will lock horns with South Africa Women in their final group-stage match of the ongoing T20 World Cup. The much-anticipated encounter will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Led by Nigar Sultana, Bangladesh had a terrific start to the tournament, securing a convincing win over Scotland Women in their opening game. However, they followed it up with two consecutive losses, letting the momentum slip away from their hands. Bangladesh Women received an eight-wicket drubbing from West Indies in their previous fixture, almost confirming their group-stage elimination from the competition.

Meanwhile, Laura Wolvaardt-led South Africa boosted their chances of qualifying for the knockouts with a thumping 80-run win over Scotland. Despite losing their second match against the English Women, the Proteas made a remarkable comeback, courtesy of a clinical team effort. Apart from scintillating cameos from Wolvaardt, Brits and Kapp, a sensational three-wicket haul from Nonkululeko Mlaba sealed the deal for them.

So, as the rampant Proteas gear up to take on a spirited Bangladesh outfit, let's see how the surface at Dubai International Stadium will behave throughout the match.

Dubai International Stadium Pitch Report

The surface at Dubai International Stadium has favoured the batters in the last couple of games. The new strip supposed to pick up pace in evening matches, with the ball coming nicely onto the bat.

However, the spinners are still expected to get a hint of turn throughout the game. There will be no lateral movement, so offering pace won't work here. So, the bowlers should focus on bowling more cutters and change-ups.

With the track offering tricky batting conditions in the second half, the toss-winning teams have preferred batting first in Dubai. Expect the trend to continue, and it will be sensible to bat first so that the opposition succumbs to the scoreboard pressure.
