On Saturday, India will cross swords against Bangladesh in the final T20I of the ongoing three-match series at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Led by Suryakumar Yadav, India have been phenomenal in the series, securing two consecutive thumping victories. After registering a seven-wicket win in the first game, the hosts swatted aside the Tigers by 86 runs in Delhi to clinch the series.

However, despite two successive victories, India might exclude a few players from their XI for the third T20I. So, as both teams gear up to clash for the one final time, let's see which Indian players might miss out on selection in Hyderabad.

Sanju Samson

The experienced keeper-batter from Kerala missed another chance to prove his mettle in the shortest format. Despite India playing on excellent batting tracks, Sanju Samson let his fans down with two successive underwhelming performances

The absence of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill gave Samson a golden opportunity to open the batting and cement his place in India's T20 setup. However, the stylish right-handed batter wasn't at his best, amassing only 38 runs across two outings.

Although the lack of an alternative opener in India's squad might help Samson retain his place, it won't be surprising if the think tank replaces him with the swashbuckling Tilak Varma. The southpaw is a genuine top-order batter and can open the innings. However, if India consider employing such a bold move, they must drop a lower middle-order batter to make room for wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma.

Varun Chakravarthy

Varun Chakravarthy has had an international comeback worth remembering. The finger spinner, who faded away soon after making his debut, received a T20I recall after three years. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands, dismantling Bangladesh with his wily variations in the middle overs.

After registering a clinical three-wicket haul in the first T20I, Chakravarthy weaved his magic in the subsequent affair, finishing the game with impressive figures of two for 19. So, given that India have already won the series, they might rest the spinner and replace him with Ravi Bishnoi, who is raring to go and impress the Gautam Gambhir-led management.

Mayank Yadav

India's latest pace sensation Mayank Yadav has enjoyed stellar success in the Bangladesh T20Is. Suryakumar Yadav has effectively used him as a middle-overs enforcer, with the fast bowler rattling the Tigers with sheer pace.

However, considering Mayank is a rare talent and recently recovered from a back injury, India must manage his workload carefully. As they have already grabbed the series, the hosts might consider resting the LSG speedster and replacing him with Harshit Rana for this dead rubber.
