On Sunday, October 13, Australia women and India women will lock horns at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The two teams are on top of the table, but it is a crucial match as they both eye semi-final qualification.

Australia have a foot in the next round as they have won all their three matches, while India are second with two wins in three matches. This article will shed light on three players to watch out for in the upcoming match.

1. Beth Mooney

The Australian opener is in some form in this T20 World Cup, as she is her side's leading run-getter in this edition. Mooney has stitched 98 runs in three innings, which features two fourty-plus knocks in her first two matches. Thus, she has set the platform for Australia in all the games and getting her out early on would be a challenge for the Indian bowlers.

2. Harmanpreet Kaur

It is no secret that Harmanpreet loves playing against Australia. She has had some of her best knocks against the Kangaroos. She is also having a brilliant tournament with the bat and is high on confidence after her quickfire under pressure fifty against Sri Lanka women.

Kaur has 96 runs in three matches and is India's leading run-getter in this edition. After a failure against New Zealand, she played a 29-run knock against Pakistan and scored a 27-ball fifty against Sri Lanka despite being troubled by an injury.

3. Megan Schutt

The Australian seamer is on cloud nine and having a remarkable season with the ball. Schutt has taken seven wickets in just three matches and has also been economical, with an economy of just 2.12. She is also the joint-second leading wicket-taker in this edition.

She has registered a three-wicket haul in the first two games and took a solitary wicket against Pakistan, but scripted a remarkable feat. The legendary speedster Megan surpassed Pakistan's veteran all-rounder Nida Dar to register the most wickets in Women's T20Is. She has 144 wickets in 116 matches.
