"There will be no mercy": Yograj Singh sends threatening message to son Yuvraj's kids

Yograj Singh, father of Yuvraj Singh, is always in controversy due to his rebellious opinions that differ from other people. Time and again, he has given statements that don’t align with Yuvraj, and as a result, the duo have maintained their differences, even after Yuvraj being blessed with two children. This has created a rift between the two, as Yograj revealed that his son doesn’t allow him to be near his grandchildren.

Yograj expresses his pain as grandchildren stay far away

As quoted by Indian Express, he stated that it took him two years to meet his grandson, Orion, as Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech kept him away from their grandfather.

“I found ‘moksha’ and my God. I have never been upset. I am deeply satisfied.” He was asked if he really doesn’t feel like hugging his grandchildren, and he said, “I met my grandson for the first time when he was already over two years old. Yuvi told me that he doesn’t speak a word of Punjabi, and in two seconds, I had him calling me, ‘Bapu’. Even now, when we speak on the phone, he calls me ‘Bapu’. The doctors had said that they couldn’t have children, but they had Orion and then another child

Yograj gives chilling warning to Yuvraj

Yograj also revealed that Yuvraj knows that if he hands over his two kids, Orion and Aura, to him, then he will show no mercy and will treat them the same way he treated Yuvraj during his childhood days.

“Yes, but the day Yuvi hands his children over to me, they will meet the same fate as he did. You can only forge gold through fire. There will be no mercy, because there is only one path… That’s what they fear, and that’s why we aren’t together.”

Yuvraj always wanted to become a skater, but his father, Yograj’s adamant nature reversed Yuvraj’s fortunes as the former India cricketer went on to become one of the most successful white-ball players, and also helped his nation win two ICC World Cup titles.

Despite being a successful cricketer, Yuvraj has time and again stated that he felt traumatised during his early training days with his father, and wouldn’t let his kids become a cricketer.
