Suryakumar Yadav's electrifying catch was the defining moment in India's narrow seven-run victory over South Africa at Kensington Oval, Barbados. 

This crucial catch, which dismissed the dangerous David Miller, turned the tide in India's favour will be remembered as a match-winning highlight.

Suryakumar vividly recalls the split-second decision-making that led to the remarkable catch.

"Rohit bhai usually never stands at long-on, but at that moment, he was there. When the ball was coming, I glanced at him, and he looked at me. I ran with the sole aim of catching the ball. Had Rohit been closer, I would have thrown the ball towards him, but he was nowhere near. In those four to five seconds, whatever happened, I can't explain."

Describing the tense moment, Suryakumar emphasized his awareness of the boundary rope.

"When I pushed the ball [up and inside the playing area] and took the catch, I knew I hadn't touched the rope. The only thing I was cautious about was ensuring my feet didn't touch the rope when I pushed the ball back inside. I knew it was a fair catch. In hindsight, anything could have happened. If the ball had gone for six, the equation would have been five balls, ten runs. We might have still won, but the margin would have been closer."

India's victory in this match paved the way for them to clinch the ICC T20 World Cup, marking their second T20 trophy under Rohit Sharma's leadership and their first in 13 years.
