The decision didn't go in Punjab's favour as they registered their worst-ever collapse against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Notably, PBKS, batting first, lost four wickets within the powerplay as Harshit Rana spread his magic. Notably, the KKR star bowler took three wickets within the powerplay and left the Men in Red in trouble. Rana took the crucial wicket of Shreyas Iyer and dismissed the PBKS captain for a duck.
Varun Gives Credit To Harshit Rana For PBKS Collapse
Following the powerplay, it was spinners show as Varun Chakaravarthy and Sunil Narine took two wickets each. However, the right-arm off-spinner was quick to give credit to Harshit Rana, who had a bigger impact in the game.
"Yeah, I felt good bowling today. Definitely, it's not a 110 wicket. It's more of a 180-190 wicket because the ball was going onto the bat nicely. I was nervous with the way their openers were going but full credit to Harshit Rana," Chakaravarthy said during mid-innings.
Harshit is having a great tournament as the right-arm seamer has 10 wickets so far in the tournament in seven matches. Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, KKR are 55/2 after 6 overs.
