Tim David delivered one of the most explosive T20I centuries for Australia, reaching the milestone in just 37 balls against the West Indies. Coming in with Australia struggling at 87/4 while chasing a daunting 215, David unleashed a sensational counterattack. 

He smashed the Windies bowlers to all parts of the ground, displaying immense power and composure under pressure. David not only led Australia to a dominant victory but also scripted a record for himself.

Sharing the third-fastest mark is Glenn Maxwell, who blasted a century in just 47 balls against India in 2023. Chasing a total of 223 runs in the 3rd T20I, Maxwell walked out to bat at no. 4 with Australia being 68/3. He went completely ballistic, slamming boundaries left, right, and centre. 

He reverse-swept, ramped, and powered the ball all over the park, leaving the Indian bowlers clueless. In just 47 balls, Maxwell crossed the triple-digit mark. However, even after his century, the batter stayed till the end to steer Australia to a last-ball thrilling victory and went unbeaten on 104 off 48 balls, with 8 fours and 8 sixes.

Josh Inglis hit a quickfire century off 47 balls against India in 2023. Playing in Visakhapatnam in the 1st T20I, Inglis capitalised on India’s inexperienced bowling attack to construct a near-flawless innings, filled with flair and precision. 

Batting at no.3, Inglis brought up his century in just 47 balls. He continued to attack India’s bowling attack until Prasidh Krishna dismissed him in the 18th over. Inglis walked back on 110 off 50 balls with 11 fours and 8 sixes. His knock helped Australia set a total of 208 runs. Though India chased it down in the last over to steal a narrow 2-wicket win.

Veteran opener Aaron Finch set the tone for Australia’s explosive T20 batting approach early on with a memorable century against England in 2013, coming off just 47 deliveries. Finch hammered the English bowlers all around the ground at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. 

After hitting a hundred in just 47 balls, Finch didn’t stop and went on to score 156 runs off just 63 balls with 11 fours and 14 sixes. His extraordinary effort led Australia to a massive 248-run total. England fell short by 39 runs, and Finch successfully led Australia to a victory while scripting a historic record for himself.

Coming in at the top order during the 2nd T20I, Inglis made full use of the powerplay and went on to dominate the Scottish bowlers throughout his innings. His explosive 103 off 49 balls, featuring 7 fours and 7 sixes, propelled Australia to 196/4 at the Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh. Scotland fell short of 70 runs in the chase, and Australia went on to win the series.

In just 37 balls, Tim David brought up his century and finished the game for Australia with an unbeaten 102 off 37 balls, featuring 6 fours and 11 massive sixes. His blazing knock helped Australia chase the daunting total in 16.2 overs to seal a dominant victory.
