On Thursday, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their second group-stage fixture of the IPL 2023. The match, scheduled at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata, promises to be nail-biting, considering the on-field rivalry between both teams over the years. 

Speaking of RCB, the men in red had a dream start to their IPL 2023 campaign, steamrolling the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians, by a whopping eight-wicket margin in their first game in Bangalore. 

While their bowling unit, led by Mohammed Siraj, fared exceptionally, restricting MI to a sub-par total, their opening duo of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis ran rampage on M Chinnaswamy's batting-friendly deck, helping them get past the finish line easily. 

So, considering their red-hot form, both Kohli and Du Plessis are expected to play a key role for RCB in their second game against KKR tonight. Meanwhile, a video of RCB's net session has surfaced, in which Kohli and Du Plessis are seen hitting big shots all around the park with sheer nonchalance. 

As we can see in the video above, the RCB openers are dealing in boundaries, which is why we can expect an aggressive batting approach from both of them against KKR tonight.
