Indian cricketer Virat Kohli tied the knot with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in December 2017. A couple of weeks later in Delhi, the then Indian captain organized a lavish wedding reception, where he invited a slew of Indian bigwigs from politics as well as from cricket.

Celebrating the joyous occasion, Kohli demonstrated some of his famous dance moves in front of guests to the tunes of Punjab music. At one point of the evening, the Indian cricketer even invited his mother Saroj Kohli to dance alongside him and the moment soon became one of the highlights of the ceremony.

Back in December 2017, Virat Kohli celebrated the occasion of his wedding ceremony with Anushka Sharma by inviting his mother Saroj to groove to some Punjab music. The two ended up hogging the spotlight on the dance floor, and the moment soon took the social media by storm.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, now married for nearly seven years, are parents to two adorable children, Vamika and Akaay.

Earlier this year, the cricketer took a leave of absence from Team India’s five-match home Test series against England to be with his wife for the birth of their second child.

One of the greatest of Indian cricket by design, Virat is one of the few recipients of each of ICC’s three white-ball silverwares, winning the World Cup of 2011 and the Champions Trophy of 2013 as well as lifting the T20 World title back in June this year.

The cricketer also holds some renowned world records with the bat, including the one for tallying the highest number of centuries in ODIs.
