After the rain spoiled day 1 of the 3rd Test between India and Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane, play resumed on day 2 and India took three quick wickets to leave the hosts in trouble. However, Travis Head and Steve Smith rose to the occasion and stitched individual centuries to stun the visitors.

At the time of writing this article, Australia are 313/3, and the duo has stitched a 238-run unbeaten partnership for the 5th wicket. Talking about Head, he has been a consistent performer against India and replicated his performance from the Adelaide Test. 

Head batted in his usual manner and also celebrated his century in his signature style. The whole stadium stood to appreciate the southpaw. Meanwhile, another special gesture by Virat Kohli is doing rounds on the internet, where he can be seen approaching Head and congratulating him on a blistering performance.

Kohli Silences Gabba Crowd

After the Travis Head-Mohammed Siraj episode in the 2nd Test, it was expected that the Indian players would show aggression towards Head. Meanwhile, the fans were surprised by Kohli's act and also appreciated the former India captain for his sportsman spirit. 

Talking about aggression, Virat was on his toes all the time and also silenced the Gabba crowd after he took catch of Marnus Labuschagne. It was done as a reply to their sledging towards Siraj as he was welcomed with massive boos on day 1 of the play because of the Travis Head controversy.  At the time of writing this article, Head is batting on 151 and eyeing a double hundred.
