Punjab Kings' young batter Nehal Wadhera had a forgettable outing in the ongoing IPL 2025 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as he was run out for a low score. Coming at number five, Wadhera managed only five runs before Virat Kohli's bullet throw ended his brief stay.

Kohli's Excellent Throw Dismisses Wadhera In RCB vs PBKS

The incident occurred during the ninth over of the Kings' innings when Wadhera was trying to steady the ship with Josh Inglis following Shreyas Iyer's dismissal. After conceding only five runs off his first five deliveries, RCB's Suyash Sharma bowled a good length ball outside the off stump.

Inglis hit the ball straight down the ground, as the duo completed a comfortable single. However, Wadhera was interested for another non-existent run, which led to his downfall.

As soon as he started running for the second, Tim David threw the ball straight to Virat Kohli, who in turn passed the ball to wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma.

As Wadhera was way down the ground, Jitesh dislodged the bails before he could return to the crease at the striker's end.  After the dismissal, Kohli celebrated like a kid, gleefully embracing Suyash Sharma.
