Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been at the point of discussion since Rajasthan Royals picked him up during the IPL 2025 auction. The cricket God gave him the opportunity he craved for during the tournament, with Sanju Samson's injury and the 14-year-old grabbed the chance with both hands.

Suryavanshi has already grabbed the headlines with a swashbuckling century in IPL 2025. The destructive batting form of the young man has continued beyond that. Currently the Rajasthan Royals are playing against the Punjab Kings in the 59th match of IPL 2025. RR's young opening batter played a breath taking knock of 40 runs off 15 deliveries and set the tone for the team to chase down a mammoth target of 220 runs. 

Notably, the Punjab Kings won the toss ahead of the match and decided to bat first. Carried by Nehal Wadhera's brilliant 70 off 37 deliveries and Shashank Singh's 59 off 30, the Kings managed to post 219.

The Rajasthan Royals needed a dynamic start to the chase and the opening duo provided them with exactly that. Talking about Suryavanshi, the left handed opening batter took down, Arhsdeep Singh on the fourth delivery of the fourth over. 

Arshdeep bowled an overpitch delivery at the off and middle stump line. Suryavanshi cleared his front foot and launched the ball over the mid-wicket fence for a six. It looked like a proper assault by the young man to the exprienced Indian bowler. Even thoough, he failed to convert the start he got, the knock by Suryavanshi was a proper representation of the mentality and fearlessness he bats with.
