On Tuesday, April 15, Lahore Qalandars locked horns against Karachi Kings at the National Bank Stadium in the 'El Classico' Of PSL. Lahore won the toss and opted to bat first. The Shaheen Afridi-led side, batting first, put 201 runs on the board. 

In reply, Shaheen, the captain, led from front as he took two wickets in the first over of the second innings. Meanwhile, the left-arm seamer hogged the internet after he got rid of Karachi Kings captain David Warner for a two-ball duck. 

Shaheen Gets Warner For A Duck

On the 2nd ball of the first over, Shaheen bowled a wider delivery that Warner looked to hit but found the faintest of edges and the keeper made no mistake with the bat. It was a huge wicket as Warner needs no introduction as to what he can do with the bat once he settles down. Watch the wicket. 

David Warner And Shaheen Afridi Off To Contrasting Start In PSL 2025

Both Warner and Shaheen have been off to a contrasting start in PSL 2025 as Shaheen is on cloud nine, while the former Australia batter is struggling for runs in his debut season in PSL.

So far, Warner has made just 12 runs in two matches as he scored 12 (6) against Multan Sultans. Talking about Shaheen, then the star Pakistan bowler has four wickets in two games so far. Talking about the ongoing match, then Karachi Kings are headed towards a heavy defeat as Kings are 49/7 after 9.4 overs.
