An amusing interaction from the second Test between India and West Indies currently being played in Trinidad has been circulating on social media, featuring Rohit's confused expression.

The moment was captured during Day 4 of the ongoing Test match when young batters Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan were up at the crease, playing aggressively to extend India's lead.

In what seems to be a moment of communication from the skipper to his batsmen on the field, Rohit was spotted conversing with substitute Navdeep Saini. The perplexing look on Rohit's face, as he peered out of a window to relay the message, is what has drawn the amusement of fans online.

'Hitman', is as much loved for his jovial demeanour off-field as he is appreciated for his phenomenal performance with the bat. His relaxed persona and memorable expressions often make the rounds on social media.

Coming to his on-field display, the Indian opener's form on the pitch in the two-match Test series against West Indies has been spectacular. His batting brilliance was visible in the first Test where he scored a stunning century and followed up with impressive back-to-back half-centuries in the second Test.

The second innings in Trinidad witnessed a mesmerizing performance by the dynamic batter as he stormed to a brisk half-century in a mere 35 balls, marking his fastest half-century in Test cricket.

Playing his 52nd Test match, the 36-year-old, notched up his 16th half-century with a 57-run knock on Sunday. He has scored 3677 runs in the longest format of the game at an impressive average of 46.54 across 88 innings.

Moreover, since the World Test Championship (WTC) began in 2019, Rohit has been India's leading run-scorer in the tournament with 2092 runs in 25 matches, which is proof of his consistency. With an average of 53.64, he has seven centuries and six half-centuries to his name in WTC.
