On Thursday, arch-rivals England and Australia will take on each other in the third Test of the ongoing Ashes series. While Australia would be keen to secure the urn, the Englishmen would be desperate to break their losing streak, recording their first victory in the series.

Meanwhile, ahead of the much-awaited clash, a video throwing light on the Headingley track is doing rounds on social media. As per the latest clip, England have prepared a greenish deck for the third Test match as they seek to bounce back in this do-or-die fixture.

Headingley, Leeds pitch report

As seen clearly in the video, the curator has left a tinge of green on the surface in Leeds, where the third Ashes Test is scheduled. This means the track will assist the seamers early on with the new ball, offering them significant seam movement.

However, how it behaves with the game's progression will significantly depend on the weather conditions. If the sun beats down, the pitch will eventually become better to bat on, assisting the spinners on the last two days. On the contrary, the surface might get spicier if rain arrives, with moisture sipping into it.

After dishing out a flat surface at Edgbaston, England prepared a more responsive deck at Lord's. However, they received a similar fate, losing the encounter by a close 43-run margin.
