Devon Conway continued from where he left off against England. In the ongoing match against The Netherlands, the southpaw took his time initially, but when the dust settled in, the talented batter decided to break the shackles.
On a beautiful batting surface in Hyderabad, Conway looked in ominous touch and after a shaky start, he decided to target the Dutch spinner, Aryan Dutt. In the seventh over of the match, Conway played a scintillating shot that cleared the fence by a million miles.
Dutt tossed up the off-break and Conway decided to take him on against the spin. Conway stepped down the track as he reached to the pitch of the ball and smacked the delivery with the sweet spot of the bat. The ball cleared the fence easily as Dutt looked shell-shocked.

Talking about the match, Netherlands started on a brighter note, bowling three maiden overs in a row. That would have given the Dutch side some ray of hope, however, the Kiwi opening batters, Will Young and Conway weathered the early storm and attacked the opposition bowling lineup.
At the moment, New Zealand have accumulated 50 runs without losing a wicket.
