India dominated the proceedings against South Africa from the fourth over in the third T20I to level the series 1-1 at Wanderers Stadium. After losing the first game to rain and the second game to South Africa, the Men in Blue came back strong to even the series at 1-1. This is the sixth consecutive T20 series where South Africa has failed to secure a series victory.

In the final T20I at Wanderers Stadium, India posted a formidable total of 201 runs, setting a target of 202 for South Africa in 20 overs. However, the South African chase never took off as they struggled to navigate through India's spin attack. After the dismissal of Aiden Markram on the first delivery of the seventh over, South Africa failed to mount a comeback. Consequently, they lost the final T20I by 107 runs.

Among the South African batters, Heinrich Klassen is one of the players who is known to set the cat among the pigeons. Heinrich Klassen looked in good touch, but Arshdeep Singh had better plans for the right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman.

At the start of the over, Klassen had successfully negotiated a short-pitched delivery from Arshdeep to score a boundary. However, within a couple of deliveries, Klassen was dismissed by the same bowler. While attempting to sweep the delivery, the batter moved right off the wicket but ended up finding the sweeper on the leg side.

Rinku Singh was perfectly placed to take the catch at deep midwicket on the slower delivery delivered by Arshdeep Singh.

India is scheduled to play against South Africa in the first ODI on 17th December under the captaincy of KL Rahul. This marks the team's return to One Day Internationals following the finals loss against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match will take place at Wanderers Stadium.
