14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi scripted history against Lucknow Super Giants as he became the youngest debutant in IPL history. Notably, Suryavanshi came in as Sanju Samson's replacement and made a mark on his debut.

Notably, the southpaw started his IPL career with a six off his first ball and amassed 34 (20), which featured two fours and three sixes. Suryavanshi returned to the pavilion after falling prey to Aiden Markram, as he was left outside his crease and got stumped out.

Vaibhav broke several feats with his knock, as his three sixes were the second most by a player on their IPL debut. Further, the 14-year-old also is the 10th player to hit a six off the first ball of their IPL career.

Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, Rajasthan Royals are 125/2 after 14 overs and nearing a comfortable win. Further, it is to be seen whether Vaibhav will continue to have a place in the team once Sanju Samson gets fit and returns to the playing XI.
