Litton Das has won the toss in Abu Dhabi and has decided to bat first in the do-or-die match against Afghanistan. They won their first match against Hong Kong but lost against Sri Lanka and have now made four changes to their line-up. They are going with two pacers in this clash and have added an extra batter on a dry-looking pitch.

The opener, Parvez Hossain Emon has been dropped which means Litton Das is likely to open the innings. Saif Hassan and Nurul Hasan, the two additions in the playing XI would strengthen the middle order while Mahedi Hasan, Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan Sakib have also been removed. Nurul Hasan gets his first game while the expeirenced pacer Taskin Ahmed will pair up with Mustafizur Rahman.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, have not made any change to their XI and have trusted the arsenal that helped them win the first game.

BAN vs AFG: Captain's Talk

Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "We are going to bat first. Yes definitely. All the boys are very excited to play this game. We know it's a must win game and we will do well to win this game. The wicket looks really good. 160 looks to be an ideal score. We are very much excited for this contest. We have played really good cricket in the last 3 T20I series. One bad game can't take away the fact that we have played really good cricket in the recent past. Yes, we have made 4 changes. Taskin, Nasum, Saif & Sohan (Nurul Hasan) are the players that are coming in. We are going with a combination of three spinners and two fast bowlers."

Rashid Khan (Afghanistan Captain): "We were looking to bat first as well. We wanted to put runs on the board. In T20 cricket, it doesn't really matter. You just want to play good cricket. We haven't had too many rest days. We had to play the first game of the tournament just after the Tri-Series final. The boys had a good three days off coming into this game, and a couple of practice sessions. We are feeling good. Our strength is bowling, especially our spin bowling. You still have to bowl well and put the batters under pressure. We have a good bowling line-up. We still need to bowl well as a unit and consistently hit the right areas. We need to come out with a positive mindset. My body is great. So happy that I am feeling the same way I was feeling before the surgery. Looking forward to enjoying the game. We are going with the same team we played against Hong Kong."
