Talking about the two openers, Sudharsan had an edge over Gill as he brought up his 2nd IPL century.
Further, with the century, Sudharsan also went past Yashasvi Jaiswal to become the leading run-getter of the tournament and also claimed the orange cap. Notably, Sudharsan is the first player to score 600+ runs in this tournament and has 609 run in 12 matches.
