South Africa took a lead, winning the rescheduled second ODI of three-match series by eight wickets.

South Africa bowlers spit fire

After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, South Africa were put under pressure as the Netherlands openers led a fifty-plus opening-stand. 20-year-old Vikramjit Singh played the key role in the partnership as his 53-ball 45 gave visitors a launching pad.

However, Sisanda Magala removed both the openers as the Dutch could never recover. Apart from Magala, Anrich Nortje and Tabraiz Shamsi also worked around their magic as their two and three-wicket spells respectively restricted the Dutch's charge in the middle overs.

Teja Nidamanuru's gritty 71-ball 48 salvaged the Netherlands to an extent but his knock could only take them to 189 runs before getting bowled out.

Bavuma's 90 takes South Africa home

Although South Africa lost Quinton de Kock early in the run-chase, skipper Temba Bavuma again rose to the occasion, winning the match for his side with a 90-run knock.

Rassie van der Dussen's 31-run contribution also came in handy, however, the partnership between Bavuma and Aiden Markram was the highlight of the show.

Markram also scored a quick-fire fifty as the hosts achieved the target in 30 overs.
