In the ongoing Match 60 of IPL 2025, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill have once again provided a stellar start for Gujarat Titans in their pursuit of a challenging 200-run target set by Delhi Capitals. Their current century partnership for the opening wicket marks another significant milestone for the in-form duo.

Gill-Sai Decimate DC To Etch Massive Record!

This latest 100+ run stand signifies Sai Sudharsan and Gill's seventh 100+ partnership and also the third-most score for an opening pair in IPL. This consistent performance places them alongside some of the most successful opening combinations in IPL history, including the likes of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.

In today's innings, Sudharsan has taken on the aggressor's role, scoring aggressively with boundaries and sixes, while Gill has played the anchor, providing stability with brisk firepower at the other end.

Both batters crossed their fifties and are now nearing their centuries as DC bowlers have been thrashed left, right and centre amidst their toil for a wicket.

DC Struggle To Break Gill-Sai Partnership

Earlier in the match, Delhi Capitals posted a formidable 199/3 in their allotted 20 overs, largely due to an outstanding unbeaten century (112 off 65 balls) from their captain, KL Rahul. He got support from Tristan Stubbs, who contributed a quickfire 21 off 10 deliveries towards the end of the innings.

In response, Gujarat Titans made a mockery of the DC bowlers as they chased down the target without losing a wicket. While Sudharsan scored a brilliant unbeaten ton, Gill slammed 93 off 53 as GT, alongside RCB and PBKS qualify for playoffs.
