As a part of their pre-World Cup preparation, Pakistan will cross swords against England in the first T20I of the upcoming four-match series on Wednesday. Led by Babar Azam, Pakistan are studded with some outright match-winners in their squad.

The Men in Green recently recorded a two-one series win over the Irish and would love to extend their winning run.

On a similar note, this will also be England's final dress rehearsal ahead of the T20 World Cup, and they will be keen to defend their title in the tournament.

So, as both teams gear up to take on each other in a high-octane clash, let's see what the weather forecast says.

Headingley Leeds Weather Report

The cricketing world eagerly awaits the clash of two heavyweights, England and Pakistan, in the first T20I of the four-match series on Wednesday.

However, the wait could be longer for the passionate cricket fans from both countries, with inclement weather likely to play spoilsport.

As per weather.com, the temperature at Headingley in Leeds will vary from 12 to 15 Degrees Celsius, which is ideal for cricket.

However, rain will likely interrupt the proceedings, with the precipitation chances reading a whopping 83 per cent. So, if we go by the forecast, a persistent downpour could result in an abandoned fixture.

P.S: As of 7.20 PM IST, it's raining at Headingley, with puddles being formed all around the ground. So, if it continues to rain, it will result in a wash out.
