In a piece of massive news coming, Jos Buttler, England's World Cup-winning captain, could miss a few matches of the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan.
As reported by inews.co.uk, the 33-year-old, who recently returned to England in the middle of IPL 2024, could be asked to take a break at any time since his wife, Louise, is expecting their third child in the next few days.
Buttler, who aggregated 359 runs in IPL 2024 at a decent strike rate of 140.78, returned to England to prepare himself for the Pakistan series, which will get underway on May 22 in Leeds. However, it is still unknown which matches he is expected to miss, although the chances of missing are almost certain.

Meanwhile, England’s head coach, Matthew Mott, has also made himself unavailable for the practice session for the side due to family reasons.
