The Delhi Capitals Vs the Rajasthan Royals match produced an instant classic as the match went down to the wire and we will witness the first Super Over of the season as the scores were level at the end of the 20-over mark.
RR needed 189 runs to win, but Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel failed to do it as the scores were level and IPL 2025 will have its first Super Over. This will be the 15th Super Over in the history of IPL and the 4th time RR will be involved in it.
How the game went to the Super Over!
RR were well on the course to chase down 188 when Nitish Rana was playing. He looked calm and composed and RR were at the touching distance of winning the match before Mitch Starc produced a magical over.
In the last over, RR needed 9 runs to win and Mitch Starc bowled multiple yorkers as the two batters couldn't take their team past the winning line.
