Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, recently in the spotlight for his relationship with longtime friend Gauri Spratt, has been spotted enjoying a casual yet starry evening with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his rumoured partner, Sophie Shine. 

The meetup, which also included Aamir’s son Junaid Khan, follows the actor’s high-profile appearance with Gauri at a comedy festival in China, signalling a blend of his personal and social worlds.

The group’s relaxed camaraderie was captured in a photo shared by Sophie, showcasing a mix of casual and traditional attire. While Sophie opted for a chic black co-ord set, Aamir and Gauri stayed rooted in Indian wear with kurtas and jeans, reflecting their understated style. Junaid and Shikhar Dhawan kept it simple in tees and denim, their smiles hinting at a warm, informal vibe.

Posting the snapshot on her Instagram Stories, Sophie wrote, “Beautiful evening” followed by a white heart emoji. The image offered fans a rare peek into the private lives of the celebrities, sparking curiosity about their off-screen bonds.

Dhawan's New Love Life!

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan has officially confirmed that he is in a relationship, putting an end to months of speculation. During a recent on-stage chat with journalist Navika Kumar, Dhawan casually admitted that he is dating someone, referring to her as the “most beautiful girl in the room.” The cameraman then focused on Sophie Shine from Ireland, who was seen blushing, essentially confirming the rumours that had been circulating for a while.

Sophie and Dhawan were earlier spotted together during the Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Dubai and again at Rishabh Pant’s sister Sakshi’s wedding in Mussoorie. While Dhawan didn’t directly name Sophie during the interview, he cheekily remarked that “hints are enough for intelligent people to understand.”

Dhawan's Earlier Life After Divorce

This marks a fresh chapter in Dhawan’s personal life, after his high-profile divorce from Ayesha Mukherjee in 2023. Since the split, the cricketer has been vocal about the emotional struggles he has faced, particularly the pain of being unable to connect with his son, Zoravar. He recently revealed that his ex-wife had blocked him on all communication platforms, making it hard for him to reach out.

Despite the heartbreak, Dhawan now seems to have found love and stability again. His budding relationship with Sophie Shine brings hope and positivity, joining the likes of fellow cricketers Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal who have also embraced second chances at love.
