Indian batter Sanju Samson immersed himself in the spirit of Christmas by celebrating the holy festival with his wife Charulatha Remesh at home. The cricketer took to his Instagram account and shared a picture of himself alongside his wife, where both can be seen further enhancing their decorated Christmas tree.

Samson also took this opportunity to extend his best wishes to his fans on the social media platform.

Sanju Samson celebrates Christmas after SA success

Barely a week after bludgeoning South Africa with a match-winning century at Paarl, Sanju Samson returned home in Kerala and celebrated the festival of Christmas with his wife Charulatha Remesh. The two posed alongside a decorated Christmas tree and the cricketer also wished his fans over the auspicious occasion with a heartfelt caption.

He wrote: “And the Santa is home🎅☺️❤️ Merry Christmas from the Samsons🎄☺️🌟”

Sanju Samson recently made his return to India’s squad for a three-match ODI series in South Africa. While Samson endured a rare failure during India’s heavy eight-wicket defeat at Port Elizabeth, the wicketkeeper-batsman scorched Proteas’ high-flying attack by bashing his maiden international century in the subsequent series-decider.

He scored 108 runs from just 114 balls to help India amass 296-8. The total turned out to be 78 runs better than the best run-chase efforts from South Africa, allowing the ‘Men in Blue’ to seal the series by a 2-1 margin.

Sanju Samson was also retained by the Rajasthan Royals franchise back in November 2023 for next year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. The franchise made add new additions to their line-up at the IPL 2024 auction in UAE on December 19.

With Samson set to lead the team once again, here is a look at the entire Rajasthan Royals squad for IPL 2024 season:
