India’s left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, instead of buying a brand-new ride, has decided to give his old Toyota Fortuner a stunning luxury makeover, turning it into something that looks straight out of a Lexus showroom.
Indian cricketers are known for their love of luxury cars, from Lamborghinis to Range Rovers. However, Arshdeep has taken things in a unique direction.
Arshdeep Singh unveils brand new car after stunning makeover
A viral video on social media captured the exciting moment when Arshdeep Singh unveiled his modified SUV.
In the clip, he can be seen pulling off the cover to reveal a completely transformed vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner Type 1 upgraded with a full Lexus-style body kit.
The front of Arshdeep’s Fortuner now sports a large Lexus-inspired grille, sleek LED headlights, and new DRLs that give it a bold, high-end look.
The front bumper has been redesigned to mirror Lexus’ luxury design, complete with new fog lamp housings. At the rear, the SUV flaunts custom LED taillights and a redesigned bumper.
The inside of the car is just as impressive. The dashboard and roof liner are finished in a rich dark blue, complemented by cream-coloured leather seats and pillars for a dual-tone luxury appeal.
Interestingly, while the look has been completely upgraded, the car remains mechanically the same, powered by its 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that delivers 169 hp and 343 Nm torque.
Arshdeep will be seen in Australia next
Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh, after being part of the Asia Cup 2025 winning squad, will tour Australia next for the ODI and T20I series.
While he missed his Test debut during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, the left-arm pacer is a mainstay in the white-ball setup.
He recently completed 100 wickets in the T20I format, becoming the first Indian bowler to reach the 3-figure mark in the shorter format.
