Bangladesh’s long West Indies tour concludes today with the Tigers taking on the Men in Maroon in the final ODI of the three-match series in Guyana.
This is how the series panned out
Although West Indies whitewashed Bangladesh in Tests and T20Is, they couldn’t replicate the same level of success in the One-day series.
The Caribbean men’s nightmarish run in the 50-over format reached new heights as they were handed two demoralizing defeats by the visitors in the first two ODIs.
On the other hand, Bangladesh exhibited their ODI prowess for the umpteenth time. Riding on their spinners’ brilliance, the Tigers thwacked the hosts by six and nine wickets, respectively, in the first and second game.
This game doesn’t hold much significance as Bangladesh have already grabbed the series, leading unassailably by 2-0.
However, West Indies would like to end the series on a high note for the sake of the home crowd.
