After losing to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) following three wins, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are putting in extra effort to bounce back and start winning again. They're gearing up to face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Eden Gardens on Sunday.

During a rigorous training session at Eden Gardens, there was a delightful interruption when a small dog wandered onto the ground. 

KKR opener Phil Salt who is in great touch,  took a break from practice to spend some time playing with the adorable visitor.

KKR shared a heartwarming video showing Phil Salt playing with an indigenous street dog that wandered onto the ground. 

Phil's affection for the dog was evident as he interacted with it, creating a delightful moment captured for fans.



KKR aims to bounce back after CSK loss

After the loss to CSK at Chepauk, Shreyas Iyer's side is strategising for a powerful comeback. KKR is set to play their next five games at home, kicking off against the in-form LSG on the 14th of April. 

Currently holding the number 2 position in the table, KKR began the season strongly. 

This upcoming game holds special significance for Gautam Gambhir, who was associated with LSG for the past two seasons. 

As a former mentor of the LSG squad, Gambhir is likely to have a mix of emotions as he faces his former team while mentoring KKR.
