[Watch] Air Force Train Over Narendra Modi Stadium Ahead IND vs AUS Final Showdown

Members of the Indian Air Force were spotted training over the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ahead of their forthcoming air show. The iconic venue will be hosting the World Cup 2023 final between Australia and hosts India, and the match itself will be preceded by a dazzling air performance from the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Team.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently shared a footage of the team’s training regime on their social media accounts.


Indian Air Force practices at Ahmedabad for final show

The Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Team was spotted flying over Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 17 as part of their training for the forthcoming pre-World Cup 2023 air performance.

Flying over the empty venue, the ICC shared a short footage of their practice session on their social media accounts.

According to reports, the air performance will run for 10 minutes prior to the start of the World Cup 2023 final, and the rehearsals for the same will be taking place on November 17 and November 18.

As many as nine aircrafts from the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Team will be performing with several loop manoeuvres in the sky.

Meanwhile, on the cricketing front, hosts India will be facing Australia in the final, and the match itself is scheduled to commence at 2:00 PM IST on Sunday, November 19. Team India, under Rohit Sharma, will enter the final off the back of an unbeaten run while the Australians have registered eight successive wins in a row following their two early defeats in the tournament.
