The 50th match of the English T20 Blast 2022 will see Yorkshire (YOR) coming up against Nottinghamshire (NOT) in the North Group at Leeds in Headingley.
David Willey led Yorkshire will be hosting Nottingham county in their next home fixture on Monday (June 6th). Headingley witnessed one of the most fascinating run chases, as the White Rose completed a chase of 208 against Durham last Friday with more than two overs to spare.
Adam Lyth and David Willey went bonkers making seventy odds each. Yorkshire registered their second win after two consecutive defeats and sit at the 5th slot in the North Group. Jordan Thompson continues to impress with each passing day, as he is the third highest wicket-taker of the season so far, having played one less game than the leaders.
Even though they will be hosting the Outlaws (Nottinghamshire) this time, the latter have a better head to head record at this venue.
They will be without Harry Brook due to his England Test duty, but the return of David Willey and the addition of Finn Allen have been a big boost for the Yorks.
On the other side, Nottinghamshire fell agonizingly short as Warwickshire took the winning points by just one run on Sunday. They were coming off a record-breaking chase where Alex Hales scored a miraculous 91 off 33 against Derbyshire.
The Outlaws started their campaign with a win but have been hot and cold throughout their summer. They could not capitalize on the big win against Derbyshire last week and lost again against Warwickshire on Sunday. As a result, they are sitting at the 6th slot, just below Yorkshire, with two wins in five games.
However, they have a brilliant record when it comes to going to Yorkshire. They would be looking to continue their dominance over the White Rose on Monday, and build on some momentum going forward in the tournament.
Alex Hales has a whooping 559 runs against Yorkshire in his T20 career. Meanwhile, Adam Lyth leads the chart with 537 runs for Yorkshire in this fixture.

Pitch Report: There will be plenty of runs in this game, as we have seen in the last few fixtures at this venue. The wicket gets better with time, as we have seen the team batting second, won the most number of games in Headingley. The average first innings score is around 190 this season. Team winning the toss should definitely bat second.
