Warwickshire vs Durham

Warwickshire notched up their third victory of the Vitality Blast by defeating Durham by five wickets.

After opting to bat first, Durham could only manage an under-par total of 158/9 on a batting-friendly pitch. Paul Coughlin top-scored for them with 40 off 33 balls.

Henry Brookes scalped three wickets for his side, while Danny Briggs and Craig Miles returned with two each.

In reply, Warwickshire's top order fell like a pack of cards. When Alex Davies returned to the pavilion, the scorecard read 36/4 in the sixth over. Then, Chris Benjamin turned it around for the home side.

Benjamin's blistering unbeaten knock of 68 came off 36 balls and included six fours and four sixes. In partnership with skipper Carlos Brathwaite (23*), he helped his side cross the line with 19 balls remaining.

Brief Scores: Warwickshire 162/5 (Chris Benjamin 68*, Liam Trevaskis 2/35 ) defeated Durham 158/9 (Paul Coughlin 40, Henry Brookes 3/38) by five wickets

Lancashire vs Worcestershire

Worcestershire Rapids succumbed to their third successive defeat in the T20 Blast tournament. Tim David and Richard Gleeson starred for Lancashire Lightning to get their first win on board.

Opting to bat, Lancashire were struggling at 98/6 after 13 overs. Pat Brown had removed the top order rather cheaply, and Ed Barnard scalped two wickets.

Then, Tim David arrived on the scene. Fresh from grabbing eyeballs in the IPL, David put Worcestershire's bowlers to the sword. He blasted 60 off 25 balls, with four fours and an equal number of sixes.

Richard Gleeson thwarted the Rapids' run chase at regular intervals. He snared five wickets and gave up 33 runs in his quota of four overs. Though Colin Munro played a fighting knock of 53 (off 36 balls), Gleeson's spell proved to be the difference in the end.

Brief Scores: Lancashire 183/7 (Tim David 60, Pat Brown 3/35) defeated Worcestershire 171/8 (Colin Munro 53, Richard Gleeson 5/33) by 12 runs

Yorkshire vs Leicestershire

Leicestershire Foxes opened their account by registering an upset over the much-fancied Yorkshire Vikings. However, Leicestershire's decision to bat first proved to be a faulty one as they were reduced to 51/4 in the eighth over.

Then, Colin Ackermann and Rishi Patel resurrected the innings and stitched 109 runs for the fifth wicket. Ackermann scored 56, which included six fours and two sixes. Patel struck a resilient half-century (57 off 37 balls) and propelled the team's total to 188/7.

Jordan Thompson was the most successful bowler for the Vikings as he prized out three wickets.

Dawid Malan scored a fifty for Yorkshire, but they never looked in the chase. Naveen-ul-Haq and Ben Mike shared seven wickets between themselves to hand Leicestershire their first win of the season.

Brief Scores: Leicestershire 188/7 (Rishi Patel 57, Colin Ackermann 56, Jordan Thompson 3/34 ) defeated Yorkshire 157/9 (Dawid Malan 50, Naveen-ul-Haq 4/34, Ben Mike 3/16) by 31 runs
