In a heartwarming moment after a thrilling IPL clash, Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill was seen playing with Ishant Sharma’s little daughter at the airport. The video quickly went viral, with fans loving the sweet gesture from the star batter.

GT hosted DC Match 35 of the IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Delhi batted first and scored 203 runs. Chasing the target, Shubman Gill didn’t have a great outing as he got out for just 7 runs. 

However, Jos Buttler played a brilliant knock, staying unbeaten on 97 off 54 balls. Rahul Tewatia finished things off in style to help GT win by 7 wickets.

Shubman Gill’s Playful Side Adored By Fans

As the Gujarat Titans prepared to travel for their next match against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 21 at Eden Gardens, the players were spotted at the airport. 

It was here that fans witnessed the adorable moment between Shubman Gill and Ishant Sharma’s daughter. Ishant Sharma and his wife, former basketball player Pratima Singh, became parents on November 3, 2023. 

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill has scored 215 runs in 7 matches so far in IPL 2025, with two fifties to his name. His best score this season is an unbeaten 61 and his opening synergy with orange cap contender Sai Sudharsan is a blessing as GT is standing at the top of the points table with 10 points in 7 games.

GT To Face KKR At Eden Gardens

The Eden Gardens is set for a cracking contest as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 39 of IPL 2025 on Monday, April 21st. 

KKR have had a dismal season so far with only 3 victories out of 7 matches, standing at sixth position on the points table. Their batting has come into its own, but inconsistency, particularly in the bowling section, has taken its toll. 

On the other hand, GT has looked like a well-oiled unit this season. With 5 victories from 7 games, the 2022 winners are sitting atop the table now. Skipper Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, and Sherfane Rutherford have been solid with the bat, while Prasidh Krishna’s recent 4-wicket haul has boosted their bowling attack.
