Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali is showing great form in PSL 10 and hopes it will help him return to the national team. The 30-year-old is now the second-highest wicket-taker in the competition, performing an integral role for Karachi Kings with 10 wickets in merely 4 matches.

Hasan Ali, once a renowned pacer in Pakistan, hasn’t played international cricket since January 2024. He was dropped from all 3 formats after Pakistan prioritised the trio of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf.

However, Ali is not backing down without a fight. He has returned to PSL and is already making waves with excellent performance.

Hasan Ali Eyes National Comeback Through PSL

Karachi Kings’ pacer Hasan Ali is one of the most impressive bowlers of PSL 10. In 4 games, he has picked up 10 wickets with an impressive 12.70 average.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Geo Super, Hasan explained his comeback story and future aspirations. He said that he desires to play for Pakistan again not only to be part of the playing XI but also to be a part of the inning cause.

"I want to represent Pakistan again — not just to be in the team, but to contribute to wins. I aim to be the best bowler of the tournament, but more importantly, I want to help Karachi Kings lift the trophy," Hasan said.

He added that though personal goals are important, he is ready to take any responsibility for the team, hinting at the possibility of leading Karachi Kings as captain in the future.

"Personal goals matter, but team success comes first. And if someone believes I can lead in the future, I’ll gladly accept that responsibility," he added.

Hasan Ali Makes PSL History

Hasan Ali has created history in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by becoming the leading wicket-taker in the tournament’s history. The Karachi Kings pacer went past Wahab Riaz’s long-standing record of 113 wickets during a standout performance against Quetta Gladiators, where he picked up 3 wickets for 27 runs. With this achievement, Hasan now has 116 wickets in just 85 matches.
