Cricket legend & Bharat Ratna awardee, Sachin Tendulkar has received an exclusive invitation to attend the much-anticipated 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, scheduled for January 22nd.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has extended invitations to approximately 7,000 notable individuals, with Tendulkar among the distinguished guests.

The ceremony, a sacred rite in which a Hindu temple consecrates a murti, will witness the presence of various high-profile personalities from diverse fields. The esteemed list includes industrial magnates Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata, and Gautam Adani, as well as Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan and modern-day cricket great Virat Kohli.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to grace the inauguration, marking a historic moment for the nation. The selected date, January 22nd, aligns with the auspicious Karma Dwadashi, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On this day, it is believed that Lord Vishnu, in his Kurma avatar, took the form of a turtle to assist in the churning of the ocean during challenging times.

Apart from the cricket legend, other invitees encompass a diverse range of personalities, such as actors Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, known for portraying Lord Ram and Sita in the iconic TV serial 'Ramayan.'

The families of karsevaks who lost their lives in Ayodhya, saints, priests, Shankaracharya, religious leaders, retired Army officers, former civil servants, lawyers, musicians, and Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardees are also included in the guest list.
