The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced a 17-player squad for the Asia Cup 2023 which has its significance in Nepal playing the tournament for the first time. Rohit Paudel will be seen captaining Nepal, as he has been doing since given the role in November last year.

Along with Rohit, the core of their batting line-up consists of Kushal Bhurtel, Bhim Sarki, Arif Sheikh and Asif Sheikh, who will also be performing wicket-keeper's duties.

On the bowling front, Sandeep Lamichhane, Karan KC and Lalit Rajbanshi are the more prominent names who have also been doing well in Nepal's cricketing rise at the international level.

Shyam Dhakal, Sundeep Jora are the notable inclusions, while Gyanendra Malla has been left out of the squad.
