The Women's Asia Cup match between India and Nepal turned out to be a one-sided affair on expected lines as India proved too hot to handle for a new team like Nepal.

However, just participating in a continental event like Asia Cup is a big deal for Nepal and as a token of good relations between India and Nepal, the skipper of the Himalayan nation handed a Gautam Buddha statue to Indian captain Smriti Mandhana after the match.

Gautam Buddha's legacy is a rich heritage shared by India and Nepal and the sharing of his statue, rightly defines the relation between the two sides, which off-late have suffered some hiccups. Cricket is a great bonding force though, and it was again evident in this Women's Asia Cup game.
