Former England captain Nasser Hussain has said that the current crop of Indian cricketers have started playing in the era of Virat Kohli who has instilled fighting attitude in players and they won’t be bullied under pressure by any team in the world. Hussain pointed out the series win over Australia in Australia as the example of the character the team has been playing with after Virat Kohli took over the captaincy.
"Any side that can go to Australia, go 1-0 down after being bowled out for 36, lose Kohli because he's going home on paternity leave, lose your bowling attack and still come back and win after some of the stuff that went on off the field in Australia, they won't be bullied," Hussain told Sky Sports.
"They (India) are a tough side. I think Kohli has instilled that. Make no mistake, at home, they are a formidable outfit."
Earlier, Hussain had said that the assertions about the Indian batsmen being great players of spin bowling is a myth and that the current generation of players are not so good as compared to the era of Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar.
India and England will lock horns in a four-match Test series starting February 05.
