Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has signed for Sussex for his first County stint in England. Rizwan, one of the most important white ball batters going around, will be featuring in the County Championship as well as the T20 Blast.
“Mohammad's first-class and Test records speak for themselves and it's a huge coup to welcome him to Sussex for a big chunk of next season's Championship," said coach Ian Salisbury.
Sussex have been forced to bring a man of Rizwan’s calibre in after their captain Ben Brown requested for a release, after being in the club for 22 years.
Rizwan has been a hot property in the cricketing world ever since he debuted for Pakistan after playing in the domestic ranks for a very very long time.
Rizwan has played 99 First Class matches and has scored 5395 runs at an average of 43.50.
