Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has demonstrated flashes of brilliance, but consistency has eluded him in IPL 2025 so far. The cricketer squandered away some confident starts to start off his IPL 2025 campaign against Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians before failing to go big against RCB. However, Gill plundered a match-winning 61* from 43 balls in his most recent outing against SRH in Hyderabad just a couple of days ago.

With 146 runs in his batting tally from four innings this IPL 2025, Shubman Gill will now lead his Gujarat Titans troops in their upcoming home game against Rajasthan Royals at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday, April 9. Notably, the Titans skipper also finds himself at the brink of scaling some illustrious records and milestones through the match. Ahead of Titans’ clash against the Royals, here is a look at all the records Gill can achieve in the game.

1. On The Verge Of 150 T20 Sixes

Shubman Gill made his T20 debut back in April 2018 during KKR’s home match against the SRH. To date, he has played 149 T20 matches, including 21 internationals for Team India. The right-handed batter currently sits on a pile of 148 sixes in 146 T20 innings, and needs just two more maximums to complete 150 sixes in the format. Notably, he has listed 100 of those sixes in the IPL.

2. Set To Complete T20 Catches

Shubman Gill is also on the verge of completing 50 catches in T20 cricket. The charismatic Indian batter has so far snared 48 catches in 149 matches, including 38 in IPL for two different franchises, namely the KKR and the Gujarat Titans. In internationals for Team India, Gill has held on to five catches so far.
