Other than Karun Nair's heroics and Rohit Sharma's game-changing advice, the MI vs DC night on April 13 was marked by a nasty brawl that erupted in the stands of Arun Jaitley Stadium, apparently hurting the spirit of the game.

The Mumbai Indians’ tense 12-run victory over Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025 was overshadowed by an unexpected off-field drama where a viral video captured a brutal physical fight between a girl and a boy in the stands, shocking fans worldwide. 

Ugly Fan Fight Steals The Spotlight!

In the video that has been widely circulated over social media, a man and a woman were seen fighting brutally with each other. The duo traded slaps, punches, and kicks, forcing spectators to intervene. 

While the reason for the fight has not been clarified, it can be understood that there might have been some personal altercation between the two and not merely a 'fan vs fan' engagement.

Despite MI’s crucial win, the clash became the night’s biggest talking point, sparking memes and debates across social media. Nevertheless, for the unaware, the match itself was a spectacle to watch.

How The DC vs MI Match Panned Out?

After being put into bat, MI posted a commanding 205/5, powered by Tilak Varma’s explosive 59 and valuable contributions from Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav. DC’s wrist spinners, Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam, stood out with four wickets between them.

In reply, DC was rocked early, but Karun Nair (89 off 40) and Abishek Porel (33) stitched a 119-run stand, putting DC in control. However, MI’s experience shone through. Karn Sharma’s timely strikes (3/36) and Mitchell Santner’s dismissal of Nair turned the game. 

The Capitals lost their way completely after Nair’s exit, suffering a late collapse, including three run-outs in the final over. They were bowled out for 193 in 19 overs, handing MI a dramatic comeback win and their second victory of the season.
