IPL 2022 | LSG vs DC - Fantasy Picks

In the 15th match of the IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will face off against each other at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. The fans will be waiting to witness a thrilling encounter in the match.

Before the encounter kicks off, let us look at how to go about selecting players from both teams in fantasy leagues.

Untamed: These players will be the highest point fetchers on most of the days.

Deepak Hooda: The talk of Hooda having a lot of potential has been age-old. Before this season, the player was rarely seen living up to expectations, but the all-rounder is having a golden time in this edition of the toughest 20.

IPL 2022: Hooda has featured in all three matches for Lucknow. In these three matches, the right-hander has faced 82 deliveries and has scored 119 runs off them. His strike rate in the tournament is 145.12, plus his average of 74 points per outing.

All the records speak of his red-hot form. With the type of form, he is in he is a must-pick for the match.

David Warner: David Warner is all set to play his first match in the Indian T20 League 2022 for Delhi. He will be an essential part of the Delhi batting order, and his inclusion will give the team solidity in the batting order.

Warner in IPL: The Australian veteran has played 150 matches in IPL till now, scoring 5449 runs at 41.6 with an SR of 140.0. This makes him the most successful overseas player in the tournament’s history. And his overall record makes him a player one should not miss out on today.

KL Rahul: After scoring a golden duck in the first match, the LSG skipper has found his form in the tournament. In the last two games, Rahul scored 108 runs off 76 deliveries as his Runs Per Innings reads 54. KL has found consistency and also the touch his team was hoping for. In all probability, Rahul will see his big knock soon. His current form makes him an ‘Untamed player for the day’.

Shilly Shally: These are players whose forms keep fluctuating; hence expecting good returns from them every day can be risky.

Evin Lewis: Evin Lewis has been a part of Lucknow’s first eleven in all three of their matches in the tournament. In the three matches, his scores are – 10, 55, & 1. This shows that Lewis’ from is blowing hot and cold this season. He will give significant returns the day he clicks; however, his consistency makes him a risky pick.

Prithvi Shaw: The aggressive Indian opener is an asset in the DC batting lineup. He is suffering from a lack of consistency in this year’s IPL. This may be because he is not getting enough freedom in the absence of Warner. Meaning that David-Shaw can do wonders for DC and help the latter find his real self back.

Rishabh Pant: The skipper of the Capitals team can change the course of any match within a matter of deliveries. A player of his abilities won’t stay quiet for long.

So far, the southpaw has scored 44 runs off 31 deliveries in the tournament. His strike rate is 141.93, and his RPI is 22. But this is not at all the Pant the fans know.

Although in the last match, it appeared that he is gaining confidence back, making a big knock from Pant is round the corner. His hot and cold form makes him a risky pick for the day.

Unhailed: They are players one needs to back as they will eat up fewer credit points but give consistent returns.

Ayush Badoni: The youngster Ayush Badoni has impressed everybody with his composure and maturity at such an early age. His cost is just 8.5 credit points, and at this price, he is turning out to be a very profitable investment. He is returning an average of 47 points per game. Thus, at a low cost, Badoni can be a precious investment.

Ravi Bishnoi: This wily young man has shown that he can pick wickets at any stage. In the 12 overs the leggie has bowled in the tournament; he has conceded 87 runs to pick two wickets. Although his strike rate is higher, he’s giving returns of 33 points per game. So, for 8.5 credit points, he can be a good pick.

Kuldeep Yadav: Kuldeep looked in brilliant form in DC’s first match, and he continued with his excellent work in the next game but did not pick up as many wickets.

IPL 2022: In the eight overs of IPL 2022, Kuldeep has just conceded 50 runs and has picked up four wickets. His return per match is 50 points. For 8.5 credit points, he will be a very important pick.

Stealthy Warriors: These players are not so common names in the IPL. Hence picking them might give one an advantage over their competitors.

Lalit Yadav: Lalit Yadav has been one of those Indian Youngsters who have been the talk of the town in IPL 2022. He has impressed one and all with his elegance and composure.

IPL 2022: Yadav has scored 73 runs off 60 deliveries in the tournament so far. His strike rate in the tournament is 121.66, and his RPI is 36.5. He has an average return of 52.5 points per game. But he is not yet so much known in IPL. Hence at a low credit cost, Yadan will be a healthy investment.

Jason Holder: Holder has just played in one match till now. He picked up three wickets in the game and has announced his arrival in the tournament. IPL 2022 is yet to see his batting exploits. The valuable all-rounder will be a very healthy pick for the match and can give returns with both bat and ball.

Hot Picks:  David Warner, KL Rahul, Deepak Hood

Risky Picks: Evin Lewis, Rishabh Pant

Stay Away From: Prithvi Shaw

Josh Inglis bags full CA contract, Jhye Richardson snubbed

Australian fast-bowler Jhye Richardson has lost his place from the list of Cricket Australia's (CA) central contract, while the dynamic wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis bagged a full contract for the first time. The cricketing body announced the list on Thursday. Richardson played both Test and T20 cricket during the summer before he was rested from the recent tour of Pakistan. Chief Selector George Bailey said that his workload management was critical following a string of injuries. Along with the 25-year-old, former Test skipper Tim Paine, and paceman James Pattinson, who has retired from international cricket, have missed out today. Last year all of them were named on the CA's men's contract. In February, Richardson, who delivered a match-winning spell in the second Ashes Test in Adelaide last December and played an essential role in the T20 series against Sri Lanka, kept struggling with injuries throughout. Of the seven names included on this list today who were not part of the 17-player group announced last year, six had earned upgrades during the past 12 months. Namely, Scott Boland, Travis Head, Usman Khawaja, Mitchell Marsh, Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Swepson. Inglis, however, is an exception. The Perth Scorchers' star was picked in all squads across three formats in the past six months since making his T20 debut against Sri Lanka in February. A maximum of 20 players can be contracted in terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Australian Cricketers' Association (ACA). Players who have missed out can earn a full contract by earning 12 'upgrade points' during the year, acquiring points from a Test match worth five points, an ODI two points, and a T20 one point. Cricket Australia men's contract list 2022-23: Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Aaron Finch, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Swepson, David Warner, Adam Zampa
