The IPL 2022 mega auction is slated to take place on Saturday and Sunday (February 12 & 13) respectively in Bengaluru. As many as 590 players will go under the hammer and out of these, 370 are Indians and 220 are overseas.
There has been an addition of two new teams, namely Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans who have acquired three players each.
While the Titans will be led by Hardik Pandya and have Rashid and Shubman Gill in the side, the Lucknow-based franchise will have KL Rahul as the skipper and Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi are the two other players acquired by the franchise.
