ENG W vs SA W | 3rd T20I | Match Preview and CREX XI

English women will take on their South African counterparts in the final T20I of the three-match series at Derby today. This game will mark the end of the Proteas’ long UK tour this summer.

The Journey so far

England have been absolutely fantastic throughout the white-ball leg. The Three Lionesses have thrashed the visitors in all five matches, courtesy of some spectacular individual performances. They will definitely look to whitewash the Proteas in the T20Is as they did in the ODI series.

On the other hand, South Africa have disappointed their fans to the core, failing to put up a fight in the five white-ball encounters. There have been some impressive outings from the Proteas’ side, but they have massively faltered as a unit. They will certainly want to end their disastrous campaign on a high note by winning this match.

Pitch Report

The pitch of the Derby County Ground assists seamers early on and gets better for batting with the game’s progression. It is expected to offer true bounce. So, if the batters see through the first few overs, we will witness a high-scoring encounter tonight. This will be the first match at the venue on this tour. So, the toss-winner should ideally opt to chase to be on the safe side.
