  • Eng Vs Ind When The Ball Swings You Enjoy Bowling Says Bhuvneshwar Kumar After His Stellar Show In 2Nd T20i

ENG vs IND| "When the ball swings, you enjoy bowling,” says Bhuvneshwar Kumar after his stellar show in 2nd T20I

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has completely turned around his fortunes in the last couple of months.

Continuing his excellent form, Kumar bamboozled the English batting order on Saturday, collecting three wickets in as many overs.

Kumar's first over was a wicket maiden, which set the tone for the rest of the innings.

He dismissed Jason Roy in the first ball of England's innings and found the back of England skipper Jos Buttler for the second consecutive time in this series.

His scintillating performance earned Kumar the 'Player of the Match' award following India's clinical victory.

In the post-match presentation, Kumar seemed delighted with the English conditions. The veteran seamer said he enjoys bowling with the swing on offer, which has worked in his favour on this tour.

"When the ball swings you enjoy bowling. But if I am not wrong it has not swung much in England in the past few years," Kumar said.

Jos Buttler is a dangerous player: Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Jos Buttler came into the series on the back of a successful IPL 2022 campaign, which saw him slam four tons.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar acknowledged how dangerous Buttler could be for the opposition if he gets through the powerplay overs.

"Jos Buttler is a dangerous player, and if he goes past the powerplay, he can score big,” said Kumar.

When asked about his fitness status, Kumar indirectly stated that his participation in all games in recent times is a testimony of his improved fitness.

"If I am playing, then something is right," the 32-year-old concluded.

India will have their eyes set on a potential clean sweep when the two sides face off in the third T20I on Sunday.
