Indian batting allrounder Deepak Hooda is set to make his debut in the first ODI against West Indies in Ahmedabad on Sunday, 6 February. The Punjab Kings all rounder has been a domestic powerhouse for several years and currently plays for Rajasthan. Last year, he lit up the Indian Premier League with an exceptional innings against Rajasthan Royals.
Hooda has been in great form in the domestic circuit this season with strong performances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and then in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well. He scored a run a ball 109 in his last game in the 50-over tournament.
