CPL 2022 | Full Player List for six franchises prior to the Draft

The 13th edition of the Caribbean Premier League is garnering excitement, with all six franchises building their squads. In addition, franchises have made a few overseas signings before the final draft is conducted on July 7, Thursday.

The retentions for the 2022 Caribbean Premier League were confirmed as early as April 4, 2022, with franchises retaining their key players. The two windows of pre-draft were conducted before the final draft takes place on Thursday. 

Trinbago Knight Riders made massive acquisitions in the second window, bringing in West Indian stars Andre Russell and Nicholas Pooran.

The duo will join the likes of Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine at Trinbago, who were listed as the retentions. Reigning champions St Kitts and Nevis Patriots retained captain Dwayne Bravo, alongside Evin Lewis and Sheldon Cottrell. 

Jamaica Tallawahs have retained skipper, Rovman Powell. The two-time champions recently announced the signing of five overseas players, which includes the Pakistani duo of Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim. 

Saint Lucia Kings have retained all-rounder Roston Chase, who was also named Player of the Tournament in CPL 2022. In addition, the South African duo of Dwaine Pretorius and Dewald Brevis have also been signed as overseas players.

Barbados Royals retained skipper Jason Holder, who is expected to return to action after a lengthy layoff. Guyana Amazon Warriors retained four players, including Shimron Hetymer and Romario Shepherd.
