The Indian batting legend has climbed back into the top 10 of the ICC Test Rankings, jumping six spots to land at number six after his excellent performances in the Test series against Bangladesh. Kohli's contributions, particularly in Kanpur, were instrumental in India’s seven-wicket victory, securing their top position in the World Test Championship standings.

Before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he will be playing in the two-match Test series against New Zealand, starting on October 16 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
